International Cat Day is an annual celebration which takes place on 8 August. It was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
World Cat Day is celebrated on 17 February in much of Europe and on 1 March in Russia. Cat Day is celebrated on February 22nd in Japan. National Cat Day was founded as a way to bring awareness to the number of homeless cats. It is a celebration that takes place on October 29th every year in US.
